Gene Bilodeau: Two measures will enhance quality of life
To the Editor:
It’s been almost a year since the voters of Moffat County voted yes on last year’s ballot measure asking for a continuation of the 3 mills that Colorado Northwestern Community College receives each year. I saw this vote as an indication of the value citizens of Moffat County placed on higher education and a shared concern with regard to what we want our county to be like in the future. Thanks again for your support.
This November we are being asked to once again consider our future. Both the Moffat County School District and The Memorial Hospital are asking for support as they look to improve our educational and medical facilities. I believe these measures will enhance the quality of life for all of us who are fortunate enough to live in Northwest Colorado.
I would ask that you support both measures as they are important to all of us and will only enhance the quality of life for all of us in Moffat County. We have a lot to be proud of and the success of these referendums will add to this. Please vote yes on 1A and 3A.
