Gasoline prices steady throughout holidays

Fluctuations in gasoline prices around the state last week have had little effect boosting already high gas prices in Northwestern Colorado.

Gas prices increased about 20 cents a gallon in the Denver area last week reaching about $1.50 a gallon for self-service regular while other stations reported a trend of comparatively low prices at $1.30 a gallon.

But gas prices around Craig are staying steady in the range of a $1.70 a gallon. Those prices are lower than they were in the summer at about $1.80 and more for a gallon of self-service regular.
