Gary Ellgen: Vote for Frank Moe
To the editor:
I am writing a letter to the editor in support of Frank Moe, who is running for Moffat County Commissioner.
I met Frank about 20 years ago when he moved to Craig. In the time that I’ve known him, he has been a hard-working local businessman. He cares about our community, and that shows in his efforts to improve it. He has been an energetic and passionate citizen. Colorado has changed a great deal in the past few years. The things that make our county great are being marginalized by our state government.
Moffat County needs someone who makes sure our concerns are a priority to our state government. We need a strong voice to stand up for Moffat County in Denver. Of course, there are local challenges, and I’m certain he will do his best to find solutions to those challenges as well. He has a “dog in the fight” concerning energy and coal and its place in Moffat County. He’s concerned about his business, and he’s concerned about all of our businesses and our livelihoods.
I trust that he will listen to each of us as citizens and will strive to lead this county for the betterment of everyone. I will be voting for Frank Moe in June for Moffat County Commissioner, and I urge you to do the same.
