Gallery: Downtown Craig’s Down Home Christmas Celebration
The fourth annual Down Home Christmas Celebration provided plentiful holiday activities Saturday afternoon hosted by Downtown Business Association.
Alice Pleasant Park had fire pits roaring with a cozy warmth to counter the chill in the air, as well as providing an open flame for crowds to toast marshmallows, assemble s’mores and enjoy the traditional Christmastime treat roasted chestnuts along with cookies and cocoa.
Family fun included the elfie selfie station with plenty of holiday props for photos, plus a candy cane hunt, wagon rides, live music and an appearance by Santa Claus.
Thunder Run Survival also offered a station for people to drop off or make Christmas cards for soldiers overseas. The business will be collecting holiday greetings for the troops through Friday.
