Gabe Daigle, of Craig, died Aug. 13, 2018, at home in Craig after a short illness of cancer.

Formerly of Hackberry, Louisiana, he was the owner of Wildwest BBQ and Mom & Pops with his wife, Joy Daigle. He never met a stranger. He loved to hunt, fish, shrimp, and tell stories. He loved to spoil his grandchildren. He will be missed by many. He lived in Craig for 20 years, and he loved to wheel and deal.

He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joy Daigle; daughter and son-in-law Julie (Daigle) and Dewey Whitecotton of Craig and their children, Samuel Newman of Dennison, Texas, and Jessica Whitecotton of Craig, Colorado; son Will Daigle of Spingfield, Missouri, and his children Anna Daigle, Isaac Daigle, and Aaron Daigle, of Nixa, Missouri.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to The Rocky Mountain Food Bank in care of Grant Mortuary.
