Frank Moe: ‘An excellent choice for the future’
To the editor:
I support Dave DeRose for Moffat County Commissioner, District 1.
I have known Dave DeRose personally, professionally, and politically for over 24 years.
I have personally witnessed Dave’s passion for community involvement and leadership here in Moffat County. Whether he is working with a youth group or youth activity, mentoring a young entrepreneur, assisting senior citizens, or even just providing a good deeds project, Dave has quietly given of himself, his time and resources, all while being humble and modest.
Professionally, I cannot list the countless times when we have called Dave during an emergency at either one of our businesses or our home. No matter what the hour, the day of the week, or the circumstance, Dave has graciously made himself or one of his crew available to us, in order to ensure superior customer service for our guest comfort, and even our own comfort.
Several of these events were even created by other tradesmen, where we decided to call Dave in to repair their errors.
Over the years, we have considered Dave and his company to be a vital part of our own business success. He has never let us down, nor has he ever let our guests down.
Politically I have found Dave to be strong in character and conviction, assertive in his leadership, and honest and forthright in his dealings with the public. I believe he has an excellent and successful record as our city’s former mayor, and city councilman, being elected to multiple terms.
We need and should demand that our county commissioners have foresight, proven business acumen, and the ability to communicate openly and convincingly to our counterparts across our state and our country. Our commissioners work for the citizens of Moffat County, and in so doing, they need to be bold, innovative, and possess a philosophy of playing “offense” on behalf of our county, as opposed to the past customary “defense”, that has rendered our abilities to deal with state and national issues at a severe disadvantage.
Dave DeRose is such a person. He can fulfill these needs. He has proven himself personally, professionally, and politically, to envision positive goals, laying out a foundation to achieve those goals, and along the way, helping others elevate their own potential for success.
Therefore, I ask the voters of Moffat County to make an excellent choice for future success, by voting with me for Dave DeRose for Moffat County Commissioner, District 1.
