Flu vaccines did arrive

— The Craig Telehealth Clinic did get flu shot vaccine in and held a limited walk-in for shots on Tuesday. Another day will be scheduled shortly. A full walk-in clinic is scheduled for Nov. 27.

Flag dedication ceremony

There will be a joint flag dedication ceremony at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 7 at the new Craig Wal-Mart store Grand Opening.

VFW and American Legion members are asked to be in uniform and arrive no later than 7 a.m.



Wal-Mart is also building a veteran picture display for inside the store to honor all former veterans and those serving at this time from the area. If you have pictures of any war period, they would appreciate getting one for their display. Questions? Contact Lou, the store manager, at 824-0340

Veterans Day celebrations include:



• A musical performance at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the old high school gym on Eighth Street in Steamboat Springs. Elementary students honoring veterans.

• Vet’s Day dinner Steamboat Post 4264 at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11.

• Flag retirement ceremony at Moffat County fairgrounds The VFW and American Legion will hold a flag retirement ceremony on Nov. 11 at the Moffat County Fairgrounds.

Please bring in all your old worn/tattered flags for burning that day.
