Fitness Tip: Make sleep a priority
Getting a good night’s rest is a very important component to your fitness program. A lack of sleep will not only make you tired the next day, it has a major impact on what’s happening inside your body.
By exercising you are essentially breaking down your muscles in order to build them up. Sleep is the time when your body repairs itself. Getting an extra hour of sleep at night will expedite your healing. Without enough sleep, your physical and mental performance will suffer.
So plan on going to bed a little early if you can, and you will feel the difference.
