Fitness Tip: Keep your metabolism high

If you want to burn more calories throughout your day, take into consideration your resting metabolic rate. Your RMR is the calories that you are burning at rest to sustain regular life functions. To keep your RMR elevated, try to eat more small meals throughout your day. Your body’s metabolism increases to start processing those meals. Instead of three large meals break it up into several smaller meals with your total daily calorie consumption staying the same. This is one strategy to incorporate that will help you achieve your fitness goals.
