Fitness Tip: It’s cold outside!
If you are not inclined to exercise outside in the wintery elements, you can still exercise inside. Believe it or not, you can get plenty of exercise by being an active TV watcher. Instead of just sitting down on the couch, get up and moving.
During commercials, you can walk or jog in place, do standing lunges, perform triceps dips on the edge of the couch, lift free-weights, or do some push-ups or sit-ups. In a one-hour show, you probably have close to 20 minutes worth of commercial interruption that you can use to your advantage for maintaining your fitness level.
