Fitness Tip: High-calorie beverages
Your overall daily diet intake includes not only what you are eating, but also what you are drinking. This time of year there are many seasonal drinks like spiced lattes that can be very delicious, but they also increase your overall daily caloric consumption. In order to limit the calories when you are splurging on special coffee drinks from your favorite barista, consider having it made with low-fat or skim milk rather than whole. Also, use portion control and choose a smaller size. These strategies will help keep you on your fitness path!
