Fitness Tip: Every step counts
Using a pedometer, which counts the number of steps you take, is a great way to monitor what kind of activity you are getting each day. There are many affordable pedometers on the market. A very common recommendation is to reach 10,000 steps every day, which helps in weight-loss programs. If you are not already on a daily walking regimen, some good ways to help you achieve a high step count include parking farther out in parking lots and taking the stairs rather than an elevator. Taking the scenic route will help with your overall wellness!
