Fitness Tip: Do you have heel or arch pain?
If you are experiencing heel or arch pain, especially those first few steps in the morning, it could be caused by plantar fasciitis. Your plantar fascia runs along the sole of your foot, inserts into your heel and is continuous with your Achilles’ tendon and calf muscles. Plantar fasciitis symptoms can occur after spending prolonged periods of time on your feet without proper footwear. In order to manage your symptoms, it is important to have good supportive shoes and regularly stretch your calves, especially if you have been on your feet all day. If you continue to have symptoms, please contact The TMH Rehabilitation Center at 970-824-5992 for a free consultation.
