First Christian Church offers to sahre harvest

Guest author

First Christian Church of Craig is providing an event of festivity and sharing during “Share the Harvest” Sept. 25.

“Share the Harvest” will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church at 960 W. Victory Way.

“We will have a free barbecue and free entertainment for the whole family,” said Minister Beryl T. Wright.

Live music will be presented by “The Monday Night Mugs” and local cowboy poet Fred Ellis will share his talent.

“Fred’s show appeals to all ages a cowboy telling the cowboy legend,” said Wright. “Fred paints a picture through poetry, song and humor. The show will bring laughter, tears and provoke thought it gives you the cowboy.”

Children will have plenty to do with animal balloons, clowns and face painting.

“If you know us, come out,” said Wright. “If you do not know us, come out. We would like to serve you. Mark Sept. 25 on your calendar. Come and ‘Share the Harvest.’ We care about you at First Christian Church. Hope to see you there.”
