Fiery early morning crash closes Interstate 70 near Rifle
RIFLE — Interstate 70 was closed at mile marker 90, the main Rifle exit, early Thursday morning due to an accident at mile marker 94.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident occurred at 7:56 a.m. Thursday morning. One vehicle rolled over and caught on fire, a public information officer with the CSP confirmed. There were no immediate reports of injuries, or other details of the incident.
Additionally, both I-70 eastbound lanes were closed as well as one westbound lane for about an hour and a half. According to CSP, all lanes of traffic reopened at 9:33 a.m.

9:02 a.m. On the 1000 block of Sage Court, community services personnel in Craig responded to a code enforcement call. A resident was issued a verbal warning for a code violation.
