Craig at Work

Jim Blevins works on more than just consumer electronics. Here, he is working on an amalgamator, which is a tool used by dentists. "The basic principles are the same," he said.

— Jim Blevins opened Blevins Electronic Repair formally in 1996, but started in 1994 in a remote back room that was originally his grandfather’s office.

Blevins specializes in consumer electronics, something he’s “always found interesting.”

He can be found from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday working on all kinds of electronics at his shop at 109 W. Victory Way.

At the moment Blevins does only in-shop repairs, but is looking to expand to offer in-home service as well.
