Einstein anniversary celebrated

This year marks the centennial of Einstein’s famous equation, E=MC2, and has been declared the “World Year of Physics,” an international celebration of physics endorsed by the National Foundation of Science.

The Craig Branch of the Moffat County Libraries is joining the celebration by hosting an evening featuring an E=MC2 Scavenger Hunt at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

The hunt is made of up of questions related to Einstein and E=MC2. To answer the questions, participants will find appropriate library resources.

One of the goals is to explore the library, so clues will be placed near key resources for some of the questions.

Prizes will be awarded to participants who accurately complete the sheets. The event is open to youths in grades 7 to 12. Call to make a reservation.

Space is limited.

Snacks will be provided.
