Moffat County School Board voted unanimously Thursday to approve a new school calendar that will create a four-day school week throughout the school year.

After months of debate, the plan the board — minus an absent JoBeth Tupa Thursday — eventually gave the OK featured Fridays off for all grades. The 2022-2023 school year will start Aug. 22, Christmas break will begin Dec. 22 and run until Jan. 8, a full-week spring break will be included, and the year will end May 25.

Three years of calendars were approved Thursday, each including a four-day week.
