Education in brief

— Craig resident Amanda Tomlinson received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio January 6, 2013.

Tomlinson earned her degree through a combination of on campus coursework and online courses taken at both Colorado Northwestern Community College and Franklin University.

— Maybell native Troy Vernnon made the fall 2012 Dean’s Honor Roll at Pratt Community College in Pratt, Kansas. In order to make the honor roll, students must be full time students, taking at least 12 credit hours and must have between a 3.5 and 3.9 GPA.

— Registration at Colorado Northwestern Community College is under way and spring classes are filling up. CNCC would also like to remind community members that the campus bookstore, The Merc, is selling CNCC logo wear which makes a great gift or a graduation present.
