CIS students begin swimming unit

Craig Intermediate School P.E. students will be ending the year with swimming, which will continue through Friday. Students are reminded to bring swimsuits, towels, plastic bags for their wet things, along with their P.E. uniforms in case the weather doesn’t allow for swimming.

Fund-raiser nets $450 for printer fund

The Car Care Aware Day fund-raiser held at Precision Auto for Craig Intermediate School netted $450 for the CIS color printer fund.

St. Louis scholarship applications due

The Grace St. Louis Scholarship Fund is to support a student who graduated from Little Snake River Valley High School and is entering the second year, or higher, in a United States nationally accredited educational institution in pursuit of an associate or higher degree.

The fund will award its first $1,000 scholarship no later than July 1 for the fall 2005 semester.

Grace St. Louis taught at schools on the Little Snake River for 53 years, and has been committed to encouraging students to pursue higher education. Applications can be obtained from the Little Snake River Valley High School.
