Grand Futures refocusing efforts for fall
Grand Futures Prevention Coalition has had a busy summer, offering activities like family movie nights in Craig City Park and at Craig Pool Complex, as well as participating in the recent Moffat County Hot Air Balloon Festival and Saturday’s Bear River Young Life Charity Golf Tournament.
Moffat County Director Kim Maneotis said it’s been a worthwhile season for the organization’s work in providing families with healthy alternatives to substance abuse, and once the school year begins, a whole new set of activities will begin, such as Red Ribbon Week, safety discussions and an increased presence by Moffat County Teen Council.
“It looks different at different times of the year, but we’re constantly going to be a force out there,” Maneotis said.
