Dr. Seuss Day part of Moffat County Libraries’ March activities

CRAIG — Moffat County Libraries is hosting multiple activities throughout the month of March, including events focused on children’s author Theodor Geisel, better know as Dr. Seuss.
Friday, March 2, marked Dr. Seuss Day, an event to celebrate the birthday of the author of “The Cat in the Hat,” “Horton Hears a Who,” “The Lorax,” “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” and other classic children’s tales.
Throughout the month of Seuss, the Craig branch of Moffat County Libraries will offer a puzzle contest with a prize of an autographed copy of “The Traitor’s Crux,” by local author Jessica Prather.
Additional programs hosted by the library include Family Game Night from 4 to 8 p.m. March 12 at Village Inn; family story time with “The Power of Poetry” at 3:45 p.m. March 15; and a book club meeting at 11 a.m. March 31, to discuss Alyson Noel’s “The Book Thief.”
Regular story times for children will continue at 10 and 11:30 a.m. Thursdays with the following themes.
