Don and May Emma Ogg: Reporter got it wrong

To the editor:

We are furious! How dare that reporter accuse our Noyes Health Care Center of mooching off of Moffat and Routt counties.

Yes, Dr. Told has and is helping us with our little clinic. He helped it get started and still helps us. There are not words to express our appreciation for his help. He comes over once a week.

Yes, our ambulance takes patients to the hospital in Craig, this is where we choose to go. We, the valley people, not only help support the hospital, we help support the nursing home, Sunset Meadows, Grant Mortuary to state a few. Why doesn’t that reporter stand at one end of Craig, work his way clear to the other end stopping at all the businesses and find out how many of them our valley trades at.

A few would be K-mart, City Market, Safeway, Centen–nial Mall, cafes, banks, E.J. Investments, Farm Implements businesses, MJK Sales and Feed, G&G Medical, Samuelson’s, Count’s Feed Store, car dealers, doctors — almost every kind, M.D.s, D.O.’s, eye, animal, gynecologists, orthopedic, physical therapist (one comes to Baggs,) dentists — and the list goes on.

I’m sure as you work your way through town, you will find many more businesses the Snake River trades at. The Craig Daily Press gives our seniors citizens a very nice discount, which is much appreciated. We enjoy the paper much.

We enjoy trading in Craig and Steamboat, not because we have to, because we want to.

Yes, we need help with our clinic. We also have a great physician’s assistant (Ron Taylor,) clinic staff and EMTs. They are the best, and we are the best, and we are very proud of them. We do not mooch from anyone.

Sincerely,

Don and May Emma Ogg

Baggs, Wyo.
