Devin Jurgensen: Thanks for compassion

To the editor:

On Friday, my 2 1/2-year-old son suffered a seizure at Walmart. He had never had one, and I panicked along with my three other sons.

As I was sitting in the ambulance with my youngest son, my other kids could only watch in horror.

A woman walking by stopped and comforted my 3-year-old. To you, thank you. You don’t know us and didn’t have to help, but you did. You were able to calm my son, and me, in turn.

Your compassion meant more to me than you will know.

My baby is fine now and being treated for his condition, so again, thank you.
