Denise Rogers: Plow makes it worse

To the editor:

We live in the 500 block of Rose Street.

After the recent snowstorm, the city was plowing the streets. Our next-door neighbor waived to his friend operating the city plow coming down the street and pointed to his driveway entrance.

My husband was outside watching this while shoveling snow on our property.

As the city worker plowed our neighbor’s driveway, he shoved all the snow into our driveway and in the process hit the light pole and pushed it slightly toward our house.

We have a 4-wheel drive truck and got stuck several times in our driveway and had to call someone to dig out all the built up ice.

Thank you for your professionalism.

Denise Rogers
