David DeRose and J.B. Champman: Special thanks for those supporting 3A
Craig — To the editor:
It was a privilege to work with a great staff that cares about the future of education in Moffat County.
Pete (Bergmann), Joel (Sheridan) and Mark (Rydberg) all worked hard for this bond, but I want to give a special thanks to some other people.
Renae Dove and Terry Jorgenson were very instrumental in organizing the volunteers and keeping that portion of the campaign going.
Thanks to JoAnn Baxter and many of the other board members who also were greatly involved.
Mike Anson, Darrell Cammilletti, Jim Loughran and Kevin Peck were also key to the success of this bond.
A very special thanks to Samantha Johnston for her support and clandestine work on 3A. She always worked for both issues and The Memorial Hospital should be proud to have her working for it.
All of these people worked for this issue because they believe in the education. A special thanks to the Craig City Council for its passage of the resolution and also the many other boards and committees and civic groups that supported us in this endeavor. Thanks for being visionary and serving our community as you do. It is a privilege to live here with your leadership, and it was a privilege to serve this issue.
We firmly believe that together we can do great things and look forward to the new infrastructure in our community that will take us into the next 30 years.
Thank you for this opportunity.
