All day. The 4A high school state championships continue at Yampa Valley Golf Course. This two-day tournament features some of the best high school golfers in Colorado.

Noon. Club 20 will meet at Mountain Valley Bank in Meeker in the Community Room for a presentation by Reeves Brown of Club 20. He will discuss several ballot initiatives that could impacts businesses. Drinks provided; bring a lunch.
6:30 p.m. Civil Air Patrol cadets ages 12 to 21 meet at Bob Adams Airport, FBO building. Social time is from 6:30 to 7 p.m., and a meeting is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. New members are welcome. Call Buddy Kinder 871-7940 for more information.

4:45 to 6:45 p.m. SHARE Craig registration, or the time to place orders, takes place at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The event is open to the public. Call Karen at 824-7939.

9:30 a.m. The Craig Book Club meets at the Golden Cavvy. Marian Simons will review “John Adams” by David McCullough. Veda Wyman is the hostess. Call 824-5703.
10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Moffat County Public Library holds story time in the children’s room. This story time will focus on Children’s Health Month and ways to stay healthy.
Noon. The Craig Beautification Committee will hold its fall business meeting at Yampa Valley Bank, upstairs in the boardroom. Fall projects are in the works. The community is welcome to attend.
5 to 7 p.m. A Community Tail Gate Football Team Dinner will be held in the high school parking lot. Cost is $5. The menu includes: pulled pork sandwiches, chips, pasta salad, fruit salad, baked beans, potato salad, desserts and drinks.

7 p.m. Fellowship Group Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 80 E. Fourth St.
Saturday, Oct. 11
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A free car care Clinic will be held at 1150 W. Ninth St. in Craig for single mothers, seniors and the disabled. This is the Fist Baptist small group project. The clinic is by appointment only. Call Love INC at 826-4400.
