10 a.m. to noon Staff members from U.S. Rep. John Salazar’s Office will be available to meet with Craig residents at Craig City Hall, 300 W. Fourth St. Call (970) 245-7107.

3:30 p.m. Craig Youth Basketball will hold a mandatory skills test at Sunset Elementary for all fifth- and sixth-graders who plan to participate in the program. Call 826-2029.



5:30 p.m. A COMA Executive Board meeting is at the School Administration Building.

6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Yampa Valley Partners will host “Our Region, Our Future,” the first of two sessions in its 2005 Regional Leadership Summit. The first session is at Centennial Hall in Steamboat Springs. The second session is Oct. 20 in Craig. The registration fee of $45 covers both sessions.



6:30 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Energy Producers Association meets at the Holiday Inn.

7 p.m. Sweet Adelines meets at Sunset Elementary School.

7 p.m. Yampa Valley Sewing Guild meets at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig. All seamstresses are invited to attend. Call Pat at 824-3324.

Friday, Oct. 7

8:30 a.m. Craig City Council budget work session is in the board room of the School Administration Building.

9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Playgroup is every Friday at the preschool in the School Administration Building, 775 Yampa Ave. Children ages birth to kindergarten are welcome.

1:30 p.m. Moffat County High School Homecoming Parade will be held downtown.

7 p.m. Moffat County High School hosts Glenwood Springs in its homecoming game at Bulldog Stadium. Fifth Quarter will follow.

Saturday, Oct. 8

11 a.m. Moffat County High School hosts Rifle in soccer.

1 p.m. Moffat County High School hosts Glenwood Springs in volleyball.

9 p.m. Moffat County High School Homecoming Dance is at the high school.

Monday, Oct. 10

The Craig branch of Moffat Coun–ty Libraries is closed Monday, Tues–day and Wednesday for inventory.

7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Boys & Girls Club of Craig will hold a play day on Columbus Day. Lunch will be provided for all members present at 11:30 a.m., as well as a morning and afternoon snack. Dinner will not be served. There will be no early-bird fee. Call 826-0411 for more information.

6 p.m. There will be a freshman parents night in the Moffat County High School library, where parents can meet some of the staff as well as get information about the high school. Call Paula Duzik or Carroll Moore at 824-7036.

Tuesday, Oct. 11

8:30 a.m. Moffat County Com–missioners meet in the commissioner chambers of the Moffat County Courthouse.

6 p.m. There will be a senior parent meeting in the Moffat County High School library. Attend Tuesday or Wednesday. Call Paula Duzik at 824-7036.

6:30 p.m. Neighborhood Watch, a subcommittee of COMA, meets the second Tuesday of each month in The Memorial Hospital caf——–eteria.

7:30 p.m. The Craig City Council meets at City Hall.
