8 a.m. to noon. Enrollment takes place at Trapper Fitness for seniors with Humana or AARP health insurance for the Silver Sneakers exercise class. The class is open to anyone 60 and older, and it is free with either Humana or AARP health insurance. The class takes place at 10:30 a.m. Call 824-6932.

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

8:30 a.m. The Moffat County Commission meets at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. The meeting is open to the public. Call 824-5517.

Noon. The Red Hat Society potluck takes place at the Craig Fire Station. Call Peggie at 824-2338.

Noon. The Craig Lions Club meets at the Golden Cavvy, 538 Yampa Ave. Visitors are welcome. The Lions Club is international organization that provides the community with vision projects and eye screenings for area children. Call Al Shepherd at 824-6697.

5:15 p.m. Craig Parks and Recreation Doak Walker Football fifth- and sixth-grade teams play at Woodbury Sports Complex, 350 S. Mack Lane.

7 to 8 p.m. Intercambio, a free Spanish and English conversation group, meets at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. The objective is to integrate immigrants and locals. E-mail Eveline Bacon at

8 p.m. A closed meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Closed meetings are only for people with a desire to stop drinking. Call Bud at 824-1793.

Wednesday, Oct. 7

9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Aging Well Program sponsors Wellness Wednesdays for adults age 50 and older. Options include art, writing, and exercise classes. Lunch is served at each week’s lunchtime presentation. Register for activities before Wednesday. This event is held at the American Legion Post 62, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. 11:30 a.m. The Moffat County Tourism Association hosts its monthly board meeting at the Moffat County Extension Office, 539 Barclay St. Call 824-2335.
