7 p.m. The Craig Rural Fire Protection District meets at the station, 419 Yampa Ave.

The Craig Parks and Recreation Department is looking for basketball officials for the 2005-06 season. Officials must be at least 14 years old. Call 826-2006 for more information by Friday.
The Moffat County High School swimming pool is open to the public from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday for lap swimming, and from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday for recreational swimming. Daily admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children. Punch and season passes are available.
10:30 a.m. Pam will be selling hot dogs, chips, pop and nachos at Cashway to raise funds for a handicap dock at the kids’ pond.
6 p.m. The Greenridge Mountaineers Square Dance Club meets every Friday night at Hayden Congregational Church. Lessons are offered. The cost is $5.50 a person. Call Lois Norman at 824-6773.

Advocates Crisis Support Services is looking for on-call hotline volunteers for the domestic violence/sexual assault program. A 40-hour training is required and will be starting in November. If you are someone who wants to make a difference, call Karen at 824-9709.
The Visiting Nurse Association is seeking women 40 to 63 years old who have not scheduled a mammogram or women’s health exam because of income restrictions. Women who need to schedule appointments should call the VNA at 824-8233 or 871-7659.
