11:30 a.m. The Board of Directors for the Craig Chamber of Commerce meets at the Holiday Inn.



Noon The Republican Women hosts a forum regarding the upcoming election ballot questions at the Holiday Inn. Speakers will address all three questions and there will be a question and answer session. Everyone is welcome. State Sen. Jack Taylor will be speaking about the state questions.

6 p.m. There is a senior parent meeting in the Moffat County High School library.
7 p.m. Sweet Adelines meets at Sunset Elementary School. Call Ivy Davis at 824-5746.

8 p.m. Free wildlife and Moffat County scenery slide shows will be presented at Cattoor Photography, 2255 W. Victory Way in Craig. For more information, call 824-3686.

Friday, Oct. 14
Craig Women’s Hockey begins. All ability levels and girls older than 14 are welcome to sign up. Call Gayle at 824-8048 or Charlene at 824-7800.

9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Playgroup is every Friday at the preschool in the School Administration Building, 775 Yampa Ave. Children as old as kindergartners are welcome.

6:30 p.m. Dr. Jessica German of Craig Chiropractic Clinic is offering free health lectures to the public in the board room at the Craig Fire Department. This week’s topic is “Why Can’t I Lose Weight?” For more information or to suggest a topic idea, call 824-9279. Participants should bring a pen and notebook. Bottled water will be provided.

Saturday, Oct. 15
10 a.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County will meet at the Golden Cavvy Restaurant. All interested people are invited. For more information, call 870-7500.
1 p.m. Overeaters Anonymous meets every Saturday and at 7 p.m. each Wednesday at the First Congregational Church in Craig. Call 629-2683 for information.

1 p.m. A men’s adult hockey meeting and golf tournament is at Yampa Valley Golf Course. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Bring your clubs.

2 p.m. Caregiver Support Program will meet at Sandrock Ridge Care and Rehab, 943 W. Eighth Drive. Call Regina Grinolds at 824-3985.

Monday, Oct. 17
The Moffat County Youth Basketball Association will be holding a boys basketball skills development camp Oct. 17, Oct. 19 and Oct. 20. The camp is free of charge and open to all boys grades five through eighth. To register, call Mike Camp at 824-0376.
