6:15 p.m. American Legion Post No. 62 hosts bingo night at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m. Call 824-3625.



9 p.m. to mindnight. A homecoming dance is at Moffat County High School. The dance is open to MCHS students and guests who received administrator approval on or before Oct. 9.

Sunday, Oct. 12

Noon to 4 p.m. A free Beach Soccer Tourney will be held at 2303 W. First St. in Craig. There are two categories for the tournament: Youths 13 and younger, Adults 14 and older. The only equipment you need is your own water bottle. For information, call Bill Sawyer at 824-0116 in the evening.

Monday, Oct. 13

All day. Moffat County Libraries is celebrating Teen Read Week. Teens can write and display their own book reviews at the library.

5 to 6:30 p.m. Moffat County Libraries challenges teens to play a board game with their families as part of Teen Read Week.

6 p.m. Humane Society of Moffat County will hold its monthly meeting at the Golden Cavy. The new 2009 Moffat County Pet Calendar will be available for a $5 donation. The public is welcome. For information, call Ann at 826-2717.

7 p.m. Fellowship Group Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 80 E. Fourth St.

3:30 p.m. The MCHS Science Olympics Cardboard Regatta Boat Race will be held at Loudy-Simpson. This event was rescheduled because of rainy weather Friday. For information, call Roger Spears at 824-7036.
