9 a.m. The Craig Middle School seventh-grade football team plays Steamboat Springs at CMS.

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The “Art in the Parking Lot” festival takes place in the lot west of JW Snacks. The fall festival showcases the work of local artists and will include a beer garden, food vendors, live entertainment, silent auction and other activities. The event is a fundraiser for the Parrotheads and all proceeds will be used to support music programs in local schools and various environmental and river projects.

Noon. A chili dinner benefiting Eagle’s Wings Christian School takes place Loudy-Simpson Park. Donations are accepted. Call Shamblee Fisher at 824-8282, ext. 24.



6:15 p.m. American Legion Post 62 bingo takes place at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m. Call 824-3625.

7 to 10 p.m. The Craig House of Horror haunted house, located next to Brass Key Realty, 840 W. Victory Way, is open throughout October. The “no scare hour” is from 6 to 7 p.m. and from 7 to 10 p.m. the haunted house operates regularly. The cost for 6 to 7 p.m. is $5, and $7 for the regular hours. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Boys & Girls Club of Craig.



8 p.m. An open meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.
