6:30 p.m. An informational meeting for an annual We See D.C. trip takes place at the Craig Intermediate School cafeteria, 201 E. Ninth Street. Any sixth- through ninth-graders, parents, grandparents and community members are welcome to go on the trip. Thursday, Nov. 6

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

10 to 11:30 a.m. The Craig branch of Moffat County Libraries will hold story-time with Veterans Day as the theme. Three military veterans will read their favorite childhood stories. Children will make thank-you notes for veterans, as well as a care package. Children should bring something for the care package.

3:50 to 7:30 p.m. Parent/teacher conferences take place in the first- and second-floor commons areas and cafeteria at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. Information about students’ attendance and academic progress will be available. For more information, call MCHS at 824-7036.

4 to 6 p.m. Superintendent Search Committee meets at the Moffat County School District administrative building, 775 Yampa Ave. The meeting is open to the public. Call 824-3268.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.
