6 p.m. The Yampa Valley Pregnancy Center will host its 13th annual chili supper and silent auction at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion. All proceeds benefit the center.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Craig Youth Hockey Association will host its annual Hockey Swap at Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way. Sellers should put their names and prices on the equipment. The association receives 10 percent of the sales. For information, call 824-7011.
8 p.m. The 1340 Band will celebrate its annual Birthday Bash at the Craig VFW hall, 419 E. Victory Way. The event is open to the public and will include a cash bar.

Monday, Nov. 7
7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunset Elementary School hosts a Scholastic Book Fair. Open to families, teachers and the community, the fair will feature the medieval theme: Enter the Kingdom of Reading — Where Books Rule.
4 to 6 p.m. There will be a flu shot clinic at The Visiting Nurse Association. No appointment is necessary. Adult shots are $18, and children’s shots range from free to $15 on a sliding fee schedule.
5:15 p.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County will meet at the Golden Cavvy Restaurant, 538 Yampa Ave. The meeting is open to the public. Call 870-7500.
5 to 6 p.m. Visitors to the Craig branch of the Moffat County Library, 570 Green St., can learn how to create journals, make holiday gifts and tell family stories.
Tuesday, Nov. 8
Noon to 3 p.m. Love Inc. will distribute coats to people in need, regardless of income. The group will distribute coats at the Yampa Valley Pregnancy Center, 356 Ranney St. Call 824-5204.
6:30 p.m. Communidad Integrada will host a presentation on civil rights and responsibilities at Craig Intermediate School, 201 E. Ninth St. Organizers will present the workshop in English and Spanish. It’s open to the public.

9 a.m. Friends of the Library is hosting a used book sale at Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way, throughout the day. The group will accept book donations before the sale at Moffat County Library, 570 Green St. For information, call the library at 824-5116.
11 a.m. Members of the local VFW post will conduct a veterans’ memorial ceremony at Moffat County High School’s flagpole, 775 Yampa Ave.
