8:30 to 11 a.m. Mothers Of Preschoolers meets the first and third Wednesday of every month. The meeting is open to all mothers with children ages 5 and younger. After the Parade of Lights, The Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services and Craig Fire Rescue will host an open house at the fire station, 415 Yampa Ave. Refreshments will be served at the open house, where participants will be able to view the latest in emergency equipment.
Noon to 4 p.m. Love Inc. will distribute coats to anyone in need, regardless of income at the Columbine Apartments, 655 Wickes Ave. For information, call 826-4400.
2 to 4 p.m. Queeda Mantle Walker, author of “The Mantle Ranch,” will be at the Museum of Northwest Colorado, 590 Yampa Ave., to sign books and tell stories about her life on the Mantle Ranch in the remote Yampa River Canyon. There is no admission fee.

10:30 a.m. Angel Tree, a project which provides Christmas gifts for children of prisoners, kicks off at First Baptist Church. The church has accepted the names of 50 Colorado boys and girls whose parents are in prison. To help, call the church’s office at 824-5926.

2 p.m. The AARP Craig Chapter No. 1418 meets at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. The program includes Sunrise Singers and a discussion about Medicare Part D prescriptions. For information, call 824-5123.
6:30 p.m. Comunidad Integrada will host a workshop on civil rights and responsibilities at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 678 School St. Call 846-5521 or 871-4599 for information.
7 p.m. The Colorado Northwestern Community College Student Sen-ate will sponsor a Holiday Kick-off Free Family Movie Night at the Moffat County High School auditorium, 900 Finley Lane. The movies will be “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” and “Christmas with the Kranks.” Refreshments will be served. Children younger than 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
