8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

9 to 11 a.m. A playgroup for toddler- and preschool-age children is at the Early Childhood Learning Center at 775 Yampa. Call Kevin at 824-1703 or Ann at 826-2717.

4 to 9 p.m. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is hosting an Emergency Preparedness Fair at the church at Ninth and Finley streets with demonstrations and displays. Th event is free. Everyone is welcome.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

6 p.m. Page Turners book club will meet at Downtown Books, 543 Yampa Ave. The group will discuss “The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao” by Junot Diaz and share a pasta and salad dinner, paid for by attendees.

10 a.m. The Craig Trap Club will hold its annual Turkey Shoot at the Craig Trap Club, west of Craig on Highway 40. Everyone is welcome for a fun day of shotgun shooting. The club will give away turkeys and other prizes.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hayden residents host a benefit bazaar for Sharon Rogers, who has chronic lymphocytic leukemia at the Routt County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. Proceeds from the sale of gift items go to a fund to help defray Rogers’ medical and personal costs.

1 p.m. Daughters of the American Revolution will hold an informational meeting at the Museum of Northwest Colorado in Craig. Anyone interested in joining the chapter that is forming in the Yampa Valley is welcome. For more information, call Shannan Koucherik at 824-9518.

5 p.m. The Craig Chapter of the Ducks Unlimited hosts its 28th annual banquet. Cocktails start at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and the auction at 7 p.m. For tickets or information, call co-chairs Mike or Mardi Anson at 824-0382.
