8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Senior swimnastics takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.
9:30 a.m. The Craig Book Club meets at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Marian Simons will review “South of Broad,” by Pat Conroy. Jan Rogers is the hostess. Call 824-4982.
11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunset Elementary School has a fundraiser with Craig Pizza Hut, 1070 W. Victory Way. A portion of sales will be donated to the school if customers indicate that they would like to contribute to the fundraiser. The offer is valid on dine-in carryout or delivery. 11 a.m. Members of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 perform a flag-raising ceremony at the Moffat County High School football field, 900 Finley Lane, weather permitting, in honor of Veterans Day.
Participate in The Longevity Project
The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership offers a class for small businesses and entrepreneurs on “10 smart accounting tips that will make you money” with Scott Ford in the second-floor meeting room of the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. The class is free for EDP and Craig Chamber of Commerce members or $10 for residents. Call 826-2039 or 756-1885.
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. American Northwest Realty hosts its third annual luncheon for veterans and their families, 105 E. Victory Way.
4 to 6 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook. Call 824-5330.
5 to 7 p.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors’ business after-hours mixer takes place at State Farm Insurance, 690 W. Victory Way. The Golden Cavvy is catering. RSVP by calling 824-5689 or e-mailing email@example.com.
6 p.m. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 hosts a free Veterans Day meal for Moffat County veterans and their families at 419 E. Victory Way. Hamburgers, bratwurst, potato salad and beans will be served.
8 p.m. An open meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.
