6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265, 419 E. Victory Way, offers a free meal to all veterans with proper ID in honor of Veterans Day. Call 824-7145.

11:11 a.m. A Veterans Day flag ceremony takes place at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. The flag ceremony is open to the public, and local veterans are welcome to attend other Veterans Day activities at the school, which begin at 7:30 a.m. Call 824-7036.

If a resident of Craig wanted to dive into how the city is spending its money on economic development, that resident wouldn’t get very far. A new city ordinance creating a department could change that.
