Grand Olde West Days is at various locations throughout Craig.

9 a.m. Hal Glanville teaches fly-fishing techniques at Glen Sherman Park at Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40. The park is open to youths and seniors. Call Glanville at 826-9771.

10 a.m. Moffat County High School graduates the Class of 2011 at the school gymnasium, 900 Finley Lane.



11:30 a.m. The Elks Lodge is selling lunch at the lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Hamburger meals are $5.50, and hot dog meals are $3.50. Proceeds benefit local youth.

Noon to midnight. The Brown’s Amusements carnival is at the Moffat County Fairgrounds. Call the Craig Chamber of Commerce at 824-5689.



8 p.m. An open meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.

9 p.m. The Hayden H.E.A.T. Relay for Life team hosts a fundraiser dance at the Hiway Bar, 136 E. Jefferson St., Hayden. The cost is $10 per person, which includes two drinks. All cover charges and proceeds from beer sales benefit Relay for Life.

Sunday, May 29

9 a.m. Missionary Kennedy Cruz presents his story about his community development work in Cambodia at Friendship United Methodist Church, 700 Barclay St. Anyone interested in hearing about Cruz’s work is invited to attend. Call the Rev. Karen Gibson at 620-0339.

4 p.m. The God Delusion/Reason for God discussion group meets at McDonald’s. The group discusses topics on both sides of faith. The new reading is “Counterfeit Gods” by Tim Keller. Books are available.

Monday, May 30

9 a.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 and American Legion Post 62 host a flag-raising ceremony at Sandrock Ridge Care & Rehab, 943 W. Eighth Drive. The community is invited. Call Mary at 826-4100.

10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association/Aging Well Program’s aquatics class takes place at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 377 Cedar Court. The cost is $32 for an eight-week session or $6 for drop-ins. Call Cathy Vanatta at 826-0807.
