10 and 11:30 a.m. Story-times take place at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St., in the children’s room. The library’s summer reading program kicks off at the time. Miss Christy at the library will read about a bear who paints “quite a picture.” Call 824-5116.

4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Local poet Joyce Phillips reads and signs copies of her book, “Aspen Reflections,” at Downtown Books, 543 Yampa Ave. Call 824-5343.

6 p.m. Holistic Health & Fitness, 420 Breeze St., offers a free guided meditation and centering class. The class is open to the public. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable clothes. Call Karrie Booth at 824-4700.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at 1150 W. Ninth St. The group is designed to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups. Child care is provided, and late-comers are welcome. Call 824-5926.
