9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Aging Well Program sponsors Wellness Wednesdays for adults ages 50 and older at American Legion Post 62, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Options include art, writing and exercise classes. Lunch is served at each week’s lunchtime presentation. Call 871-7676.
3 to 5 p.m. The state Office of Economic Development and International Trade hosts a regional meeting to discuss the governor’s bottom-up economic development plan at The Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave. Space is limited. Call the Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership at 826-2039.
5:30 p.m. A meeting for women only of the Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Penny at 824-1793.
6 to 9 p.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual State of the County event at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13. Gov. John Hickenlooper is the keynote speaker. Tickets cost $40 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members. Dinner and dessert will be served and there is a cash bar. Call the Chamber at 824-5689.
7 p.m. Friendship United Methodist Church, 700 Barclay St., hosts an Ash Wednesday service. A hot dog dinner takes place at 6 p.m., also at the church. The public is invited to attend both the dinner and service. Call Rev. Karen Gibson at 824-7939 or 620-0339.

9:30 a.m. The Craig Book Club meets at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 657 Green St. Jan Rogers reviews “The Island of Seven Cities.” Marian Simons is the hostess. Call 824-7368.
10 and 11 a.m. Story-time takes place at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St. The theme is ducks. Families can enjoy guest speakers, skits, activities and songs. Call 824-5116.

4 to 6 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook and drivers to help deliver meals. Call 824-5330.
6:30 to 9 p.m. The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership offers a free class for entrepreneurs hoping to start a small business titled “First steps — How to start a business 101” in the second-floor meeting room of the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. Call 756-1885 to RSVP.
