11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at no cost at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook, as well as drivers to deliver meals. Call 824-5330.

5 to 6 p.m. The Alzheimer’s Support Group meets at Sandrock Ridge Care & Rehab in the conference room, 943 W. Eighth Drive. Call 826-4100.
Participate in The Longevity Project
The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
5 to 8 p.m. Nurturing Parenting classes take place in the boardroom at the Moffat County School District administrative building, 775 Yampa Ave. All classes are free, and dinner will be served. Call Lynae Ellgen at 826-6282.
6 to 7 p.m. Open lap swimming takes place at the Moffat County High School swimming pool, 900 Finley Lane. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Punch and season passes are available. Call 826-6557.
6:30 p.m. The Yampa Valley Piecemakers Quilt Guild meets at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. The meeting is open to the public. There will be presentations on perfect quilt binding, mitered border and quilt labels. Call Janice Hunsaker at 824-7931.
