5 p.m. The community is invited to a gathering from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Craig Chamber of Commerce to say goodbye to former director Cathy Vanatta and to meet new director Annette Gianinetti. Refreshments will be served.

The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association is accepting registrations for the 102nd annual Cowboys’ Roundup Days/ First National Bank of Steamboat Springs July 4 parade. Those interested can pick up an application at the Steamboat Springs visitor’s center or download one from steamboatchamber.com on the Fourth of July information page.

3 p.m. Hahn’s Peak Historical Society will sponsor its annual Ice Cream Social until 5 p.m. at the Hahn’s Peak School House. For more information, call Pat Cook at 824-5537.

Monday, July 4

The city of Craig, Moffat County and Craig Fire/Rescue are sponsoring a fireworks show, which will begin at dusk. The fireworks will be launched from the hill south of Moffat County High School.

6 p.m. A farewell party for Mark and Becky Gorham, who are moving to Louisiana after 25 years in Craig, is at the First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. Bring a dish to share. Drinks and paper goods will be provided.

9 a.m. The Moffat County Humane Society will hold a yard sale as a fund-raiser at 827 Russell St. Donations are being accepted at 827 Russell St. Call Patty at 824-7945.

1 p.m. The Small Business Dev–elopment Center of Craig will offer a free workshop on business start-up until 4 p.m. at The Center of Craig. To reserve a seat or for more information, call 824-7078.

7 p.m. A free puppet show, “Yampa River Critters,” is at 7 p.m. July 13 at the Children’s Amphitheater at Yampa River Botanic Park.

7 p.m. A Teen Poker Night, featuring Texas Hold’em, will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of Craig. There is a $5 admission charge.

Saturday, July 16

7 a.m. The Yampa Valley Landlord Association will hold a training session in the Red Cross Building. Call 824-7120.

Thursday, July 21

10 a.m. Shriners 16th annual fund-raising golf tournament starts with registration at Yampa Valley Golf Course. The tournament starts at 11 a.m.

5:30 p.m. Hayden’s Colorado Days The celebration features a Bratwurst Picnic at the park in Hayden.

6 p.m. The Yampa Valley Landlord Association hosts its summer picnic at the Columbine Pool.
