6 p.m. Community Alliance of the Yampa Valley hosts a candidate forum for Yampa Valley Electric Association candidates at the Yampa Valley Electric Association community room, 32 Tenth St., in Steamboat Springs. The candidates will discuss their goals and vision for the local electrical co-op. The event is open to the public. Call 870-2896.

1 p.m. Moffat County Education Association meets in the commons area at Moffat County High School for the presentation and ratification of the salary agreement for 2009-10. All MCEA members are encouraged to attend to approve the contract. Call Michelle Conroy at 879-7533.

6 p.m. Holistic Health & Fitness, 420 Breeze St., offers a free guided meditation and centering class. The class is open to the public. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable clothes. Call Karrie Booth at 824-4700.
