4 p.m. The Moffat County School District Board of Education meets in the school administration building.

5 p.m. The Craig Daily Press will host a Chamber Mixer in the Mather’s Lounge and Cafe parking lot for Chamber members. Food, drinks and live music will be provided. The event is co-sponsored by Imagemakers, Identity Graphics, Sign Source, Chaos Ink and Masterworks Mechanical, Carelli’s and Mather’s.

6 p.m. The Knights of Columbus will host a barbecue behind St. Michael’s Church. Proceeds from the organization’s Tootsie Roll Drive will be presented to the VNA and Horizons.

7 p.m. Bears Ears Sportsman’s Club quarterly meeting is at Golden Cavvy.

Friday, June 24

5 p.m. The Boys & Girls Club of Craig will hold a Power Hour Club Bucks Auction. Members can use Club Bucks they have earned to buy cool prizes. Call 826-0411.

6:30 p.m. The High Plains Mustang Club hosts a free “Evening of Horses” at the Moffat County Fairgrounds. The event will feature the Mounted Color Guard from Fort Carson, the Meeker Drill Team and the Tugs and Traces Driving Club.

7 p.m. Bingo is at the Elks Club, 43 W. Victory Way.

Saturday, June 25

9 a.m. The Bureau of Land Manage-ment silent horse adoption and Colorado Wild Horse Show is at 9 a.m. at the Moffat County Fairgrounds. Call 824-9505.

9 a.m. Yampatika is offering an Exploring the Colorado River Raft Trip. The fee is $120 for adults and $75 for children. Meet at Yampatika. Blue Sky West supplies the rafts. Participants must be 16 or older, and the event is limited to 12 people. Call Yampatika at 871-9151 to register.

1 p.m. Share Craig Distribution Day is from 1 to 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Church, 678 School St. Call Karen at 824-7939 or Laura at 824-7916.

Noon The eighth annual Taste of South Routt is from noon to 6 p.m. at Decker Park in Oak Creek.

6:30 p.m. Ultra Mini Shootout is at Hayden Speedway.

8 p.m. A one-night-only Perry-Mansfield Faculty Showcase is at the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp. The cost is $12 for adults and $10 for children ages 11 and younger.

5 p.m. The UMWA Local 1799 meets at the Center of Craig. Call 824-4134.

6 p.m. Advocates Against Battering and Abuse hosts its 20th annual Decadent Desserts fund-raiser at the Catamount Golf Clubhouse in Steamboat Springs. The night includes all-you-can-eat dessert samples, live music and silent and live auctions. Tickets are $25. Call 879-2034.

Tuesday, June 28

1 p.m. Routt County Conservation District, in conjunction with the Routt County Weed Advisory Board, will hold its annual meeting at Yampa River State Park. The cost is $10 at the door.

7:30 p.m. The Craig City Council meets in City Hall.

Wednesday, June 29

7 p.m. The Memorial Hospital Board of Directors meets in the Visiting Nurse Association Board Room.

Thursday, June 30

5 p.m. The community is invited to a gathering from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Craig Chamber of Commerce to say goodbye to former director Cathy Vanatta and to meet new director Annette Gianinetti. Refreshments will be served.

Monday, July 4

6 p.m. A farewell party for Mark and Becky Gorham, who are moving to Louisiana after 25 years in Craig, is at the First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. Bring a dish to share. Drinks and paper goods will be provided.

Saturday, July 9

9 a.m. The Moffat County Humane Society will hold a yard sale as a fund-raiser at 827 Russell St. Donations are being accepted at 827 Russell St. Call Patty at 824-7945.

7 p.m. A free puppet show, “Yampa River Critters,” is at 7 p.m. July 13 at the Children’s Amphitheater at Yampa River Botanic Park.

Friday, July 15

7 p.m. A Teen Poker Night, featuring Texas Hold’em, will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of Craig. There is a $5 admission charge.

Saturday, July 16

7 a.m. The Yampa Valley Landlord Association will hold a training session in the Red Cross Building. Call 824-7120.

Thursday, July 21

10 a.m. Shriners 16th annual fund-raising golf tournament starts with registration at Yampa Valley Golf Course. Tournament starts at 11 a.m.
