6:30 p.m. Sweet Adelines will perform during the Downtown Business Association’s second Saturday for late shoppers. Participating shops will be open until 8 p.m., and the Sweet Adelines will be strolling and serenading until 7:30 p.m. Find Sammy the Squirrel and enter the prize drawing.

5:30 p.m. LIFE, a weight loss group, meets Monday nights at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St., in Craig. Weigh-in begins at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting begins at 6 p.m. Call Joan at 824-6611.

6:30 p.m. Craig Parks and Recreation diving lessons will begin for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade girls and boys. Lessons will be taught by David Fix, Moffat County High School diving coach. For more information, call David at 276-1224.

Wednesday, June 15

8:30 a.m. Mothers of Preschoolers meets at Calvary Baptist, 1050 Yampa Ave., until 11 a.m. The cost is $6, which includes breakfast, crafts and speakers. Children are welcome. Call 824-0101.

8:30 a.m. The Hayden Library is hosting “Oral History 101,” a workshop designed to help get you started in capturing your family history on tape. B.P.O. Elks Lodge, 43 West Victory Way, is hosting a Father’s Day all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. 1 p.m. The Memorial Hospital will host the fifth annual Tee It Up for Healthy Futures golf tournament. The tournament is a fund-raiser for The Memorial Hospital Foundation, which will begin its capital campaign this summer. For more information, call Pam at 826-3109.

6:30 p.m. Free community event for family entertainment and to pay tribute to local veterans and the roles that horses have played throughout civilization will take place at the Moffat County Fairgrounds. Entertainment includes the mounted color guard from Ft. Carson, Meeker Drill Team and the Tugs & Traces Driving club. For more information, call Dona at 824-9406.
