— 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Aging Well Program sponsors Wellness Wednesdays for adults age 50 and older. Options include art, writing and exercise classes. Lunch is served at each week’s lunchtime presentation. The event takes place at the American Legion Post, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 871-7676 to register.

10 a.m. The Kids Outside nature group meets at Loudy-Simpson Park for a short hike and scavenger hunt. Call Robyn Morris at 824-1703.

Noon. A meeting for women only of the Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.

Noon. The Moffat County American Legion Post 62 baseball team plays a doubleheader in Summit.

2 to 3 p.m. The Express Yourself Youth Club meets at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St. The club, which is open to anyone 8 to 18 years old, explores literary, musical and dramatic arts through books, guest speakers and other mediums. The theme of today’s event is communication games. Call 824-5116.

4:45 to 6:45 p.m. Food orders for SHARE Craig are taken at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 678 School St. Call Karen Gibson at 824-7939.

Thursday, July 9

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

11 a.m. Moffat County Libraries story-time takes place at the Moffat County Fairgrounds covered picnic area. Bring a lunch, sunscreen and hat. In case of stormy weather, call the library before 10:30 a.m. to learn whether the event has been canceled. The theme for the day is drama and visual arts. Call 824-5116.

4 to 7 p.m. The Downtown Business Association hosts the farmers market at Alice Pleasant Park in downtown Craig. Local produce and products are for sale. Call Kay Jennings at 620-4917.

4 to 7 p.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County hosts public voting for the 2009-10 Pet Mates Calendar contest at the farmers market. Voting happens by donating to a selected pet. Call Carol Scott at 824-2103.

5 to 7 p.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors invite you and your staff to a business after-hours mixer hosted by the Moffat County Fair. There will be food and door prizes, including event tickets. The mixer will be held at the Moffat County Fairgrounds covered picnic area. RSVP to 824-5689 or by e-mail to office@craig-chamber.com.
