9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Aging Well Program sponsors Wellness Wednesdays for adults 50 and older at American Legion Post 62, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Options include art, writing and exercise classes. Lunch is served at each week’s lunchtime presentation. Call 871-7676 for more information.

11:30 a.m. The Moffat County Tourism Association Board meets in the main floor conference room of the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. Call 824-2335.

Noon. A meeting for women only of the Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.



1 to 8 p.m. The Craig Pool Complex is open for swimming. The cost is $4 for adults 18 and older; $3.25 for swimmers 12 to 17; $3 for swimmers 4 to 11; and swimmers 3 and younger and 55 and older swim for free. Call the pool at 824-3015.

3:30 p.m. An Arthritis Foundation Aquatics class takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. The program is for adults 50 and older. Call the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association at 871-7676.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.



Thursday, July 8

8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Senior swimnastics takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

11 a.m. Story-time takes place at the Moffat County Fairgrounds covered picnic area. Families can enjoy gust speakers, skits, activities and songs. The theme of the day’s presentation is “Hurray for fish.” Call 824-5116.

5 to 7 p.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors offer a business after-hours mixer at the OP Bar and Grill, 534 E. Victory Way. There will be food and a Hawaiian theme. RSVP by calling 824-5689 or e-mail office@craig-chamber.com.
