All branches of the Moffat County Libraries are closed in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

7 a.m. The Cottonwood Classic tees off at Yampa Valley Golf Course, 2179 Highway 394. Call the pro shop at 824-3673.

7:30 a.m. The 124th annual Meeker Range Call celebration begins today with a 5K run walk. Other attractions include a pancake breakfast, parade, barbecue, fireworks, barn dance and a carnival. Tickets for the weekend are $35 for adults, $30 for children younger than 12 and seniors older than 55, and free for children younger than 5. For a full schedule, visit http://www.rangecall.com.



9 a.m. The Little Britches Rodeo takes place at the Moffat County Fairgrounds, 640 E. Victory Way. Admission is free.

1 to 6 p.m. The Craig Pool Complex is open for swimming. The cost is $4 for adults 18 and older; $3.25 for swimmers 12 to 17; $3 for swimmers 4 to 11; and swimmers 3 and younger and 55 and older swim for free. Call the pool at 824-3015.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.



6:15 p.m. American Legion Post 62 hosts bingo at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m., and games begin at 6:15 p.m. Call the American Legion at 824-3625.

8 p.m. An open meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.
